The DVDs
Logical Lead Guitar is different from
other guitar courses primarily by nature of the detail I've
packed into the two course DVDs. In nearly four hours of
close-up instruction, I demonstrate more than 450 musical
examples, nearly all notated in sheet music and tablature
in the corresponding course books.
The heart of this course is on those DVDs, in those examples.
For once, a guitar teacher has actually taken the time to
tear apart every section of every essential scale pattern
and shown you exactly how to use the notes, phrases and
riffs found within those scale patterns to actually make
music! There's nothing random here, this is the orderly,
"Logical" approach to playing lead guitar used
by all the pros you love to listen to. This is must-know
information!
There is simply no other course available today which shows
you how to put scales to use in this incredible detail.
Whether you're already soloing with some of these patterns,
or just beginning, Logical Lead Guitar will immediately
improve your understanding of the guitar and get you flyin'
over the frets!
Each DVD contains two main sections, with multiple sub-chapters.
With the easy to use DVD menu, you can move to or from any
chapter at will. If you're fluent with the controls of your
DVD player or PC DVD player, you can even loop short segments
of the DVD to replay an example over and over, or slow down
an example, while you study. If only you could do that with
your private lesson teacher!
To give you a better sense of the DVD video, here are some
screen shots from the DVDs themselves:
The DVD sections and chapters
all correspond to course books included with Logical Lead
Guitar. Each DVD section includes examples which are transcribed
in sheet music and tablature in the corresponding course
book.
Each
section of the DVD is further broken down into chapters
which also correspond to the course books. You can easily
skip from one chapter to the next using the Logical Lead
Guitar DVD menu.
Each
DVD chapter includes on-screen graphics to help you understand
and duplicate that chapter's examples easily and logically.
Throughout
each chapter I thoroughly explain the larger concepts related
to that chapter before delving into the fine detail of playing
the guitar. Much of this verbal teaching is also included
in the text of the eleven course books, but there are countless
tips and bits of advice I can't help but speak about in
the DVDs which are not in the books. I really love to teach,
and you'll see that!
The
bulk of the four-hours of DVD footage is spent in close-up
mode, where you can see every move I make in great detail.
Each example is clearly numbered and transcribed in the
appropriate course books. If you've ever struggled with
putting scales to use, you won't anymore!
